At the Madrid Masters, women beautiful enough to be models have replaced the boys and girls from tennis academies who used to volunteer as tennis "ball boys." Andre Agassi comes off as very concerned about this, or an entertaining chauvenist, or both, depending on what article you read. The Washington Post* quotes him: "The skirts look like they're a little difficult to run in," Agassi said. "I think they need to be shorter, maybe."

Meanwhile, in France, two schoolgirls were expelled from a public school for wearing bandannas covering their heads, their attempt to walk a fine line between Musilim beliefs and French attempts to separate church and state.
