skeletons in the closet

A Greek group has just dropped a planned lawsuit against director Oliver Stone because his new movie "Alexander" portrays the ancient ruler as bisexual. You can read the BBC story here, but as usual, the Times' (UK) version is funnier:
In an argument that probably only another Greek lawyer could understand, Yannis Varnakos, the group spokesman, said: "We cannot say that President John F. Kennedy was a shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, so Warner cannot come out and say Alexander was gay."

Over to Colin Farrell, the Irish actor who plays Alexander. "Do I think Alexander was bisexual? Absolutely! Don't sue Oliver Stone... sue me! And try and tell me there's something wrong with it. Try and tell me... How are you gonna prove physically this man wasn't?"
