Common element still holds secrets
I've got a new article out on stardust, the stuff of which we're made. Poetic, ain't it? I wrote it for the physics lab I worked for in Geneva. Specifically, it's on new research on nuclei that better explains how carbon forms in stars.
One of my science writing teachers told us about a mantra of a famous journalist: "I have only three rules about journalism: Never trust an editor, never trust an editor, and never trust an editor." Case in point: they screwed up my headline, which should have read as above, but as they did it sounds stitled and misleading. Alas.
