As if there weren't enough threats in the world, now it turns out vampire bats can sneak up on their prey by crawling along the ground, then breaking out in a sprint. Usually I keep a watch out in the sky for vampire bat attacks, but now I'm going to have to keep an eye trained on the ground, too.
