The new version of the Field Guide for Science Writers came out Friday, and I'm anxious to see it, especially for advice as I'm a beginning freelancer. From the publishers blurb:
This is the official text for the National Association of Science Writers. In the eight years since the publication of the first edition of A Field Guide for Science Writing, much about the world has changed.
The book covers how to cover complex findings and conflicts, yadda yadda, and the blurb ends:
And, untimately, how to write.
Yes, by making up words. Ironic, isn't it?
