comic on synthetic biology

The scientific journal Nature has a comic in their recent issue on synthetic biology—that is, the art and science of engineering life to do our bidding—that was written by one of the field's founders, Drew Endy of MIT.

The cavalier kid in the comic screws up at first but eventually figures out how to use cookbook-type recipes for assembling bacteria that will do virtually anything.
