probing beneath ice rinks

I've written about lakes buried beneath Antarctica's kilometers-thick ice sheet, and plans to drill into the biggest one, Lake Vostok.

So I got a chuckle from this nonsensical art project on probing the depths below ice rinks and other bodies of ice. Imagine going to your local rink and saying you're there to drill in for a science experiment. The video of the ice rink probe is here.
